STEELE ROCKS
I like to read alot but only certain types of books. This book instantly on my top 10 list. This book series is about a man who is a high tech cop. (There are 8 books in the series.) He goes in(His boss forced him)and conducts a series of things that are top secret. One is having a small high tec micro chip being placed in his brain.
When he was on a mission as a cop he was shot. He was on life support and would have stayed that way if not for a top secret branch of the CIA. They made him into a cyborg. His brain was severly damaged but the micro chip was intact. They transfored all the data from the chip to a small computer that became his brain. It was incased in nysteel to protect it.The series has Steele's (The main person in the book)missions and tells about his stuggles in his new life. This book should only be read by mature reader because of language, drinking, and other adult contense.
All together on a scale from 1-10 I give it a 10.
The author is J.D.Masters.

Good book.
This was one of my favorite Her Story books. It is about Julie, a young girl who travels west with her family by covered wagon on the Oregon Trail in the 1840s. If you liked the other Her Story books you will like this one.

The Kingfisher Young People's Atlas of the World
Published in Hardcover by Kingfisher Books (September, 1997)
Author: Philip Steele
Average review score:

An excellent world Atlas.
As with most atlases, this book divides the world into various regions, some as small as countries (e.g. Western Africa, Oceania, France, etc.) The book has many colorful topographical maps as well as pictures of important locations, animals, activities and/or native dress. Interestingly, each one contains a picture of a native dish. At the end of the book is a chart of facts and figures, organized by continent, which includes the following information: country, area, population, capital, official language, currency, and major products.

I bought this atlas for my children sight unseen, and do not regret it in the least. My small children (6 and 8) like it, and the depth of information it contains is sure to make the book useful for years to come. I recommend it absolutely.

Knights
Published in Hardcover by Kingfisher Books (September, 1998)
Author: Philip Steele
Average review score:

Knights-A Great and Beautiful Book
This book is the best! I have never given five stars to a book before, but wish I could rate this one at ten stars. Knights is a gorgeous book chock full of interesting data about knights from all over the world and their weaponry, coat of arms, armor, and the age of chivalry over a thousand year span, as well as bits about what life was like for common folk, in an easy to read and reference format. The back of the book details real (past) knights and fictitious knights from well know stories by name. A glossary is also included. This is one book, even if you're not into the subject, you will love. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

When you don't know the answer ..."Wang"
Laughed, I thought I was going to die. It took, several days for me to actually get through the whole book. Not because I didn't try to read the whole thing in one go, but it's difficult to read when you luagh so hard your eyes water and yor sides ache. I had to put it down and walk away. When, I thought it was safe to go back I tried to pick up on where I left off, but in a very short time I had to put it away and try to catch my breath. **Warning do not drink milk or strong ginger ale while attemting to read this book**

Macmillan: The American Grain Family

Authors: W. Duncan Macmillan, Patricia Condon Johnston, and John Steele Gordon
Average review score:

Great selection if you love biographies. Enjoyable reading
Great summer reading, especially if you love biographies. Tells all about the MacMillans starting in Scotland and up to the present. Another family like the Rockefellers or Kennedys but started much earlier and still going strong. Today one of the wealthiest families in the world. Most people have never heard of them.

Good reference
I found this book while doing research for a paper, and I found it to be the most useful resource of all. It has a lot of great information, and it's very understandable. I highly recommend it to other college students and to anyone who is interested in archaeology or anthropology.

Mr. Bud's Country Store
Published in Hardcover by Hidden Path Publication, Inc. (10 March, 2003)
Author: D. Kelley Steele
Average review score:

Great point of view
I grew up in Statesville, NC near where this story takes place. Kelley was a classmate in Elementary school. I believe her perspective and journey down memory lane will be must read for children who will probably never know the memories of life in a small town around a country store.
